Privacy policy

The controller of your personal data is STUDIO MERLIN, s.p., Simončičeva ulica 2, 8210 Trebnje, Slovenia (EU), tassh@studio-merlin.com. We collect as little as possible.

What we collect and why

• Your email address, when you ask for a free gift or free product. We use it to keep a record of the signup and, if you ticked the box, to send you our newsletter (legal basis: your consent, GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us or by using the unsubscribe link in any email.
• Your name, email and message, when you use the contact form, so we can answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
• Order data (email, product, amount, date) when you buy something, to deliver the product, handle support and meet accounting duties (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)). Card payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., which processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We never see your card number.
• Technical server logs (IP address, time, page requested) kept for up to 14 days for security (Art. 6(1)(f)).

No cookies, no tracking

This site sets no cookies and uses no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie banner and nothing to opt out of. Stripe's checkout page, which you visit only when you pay, uses its own cookies needed for secure payments and fraud prevention.

Who processes the data

Hostinger (server in Germany, EU) hosts the site. Stripe processes payments. We do not sell or rent your data and do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Newsletter signups until you unsubscribe; contact messages up to 2 years; order records as long as accounting law requires (generally 10 years in Slovenia).

Your rights

You may ask for access to, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to tassh@studio-merlin.com. You can also complain to the Slovenian data protection authority: Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.

Our products are not meant for children under 15, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
